2-3's

The 2-3 class has been working on foot eye coordination. Controlling a Soccer Ball without using their hands is something that the 2-3's have been working really hard on. We have been practicing these skills by playing Soccer Shipwreck, Keep Away, and Knockout. These games help the class have better ball handling skills.

Pre-K

The Pre-K have been working really hard in PE class. We have been practicing all of our locomotor skills and learning spacing awareness. The Pre-K also have been working on throwing skills by playing a game called Clean Your Room.

Health

The 2-3 health class have been learning a lot about nutrition and what food choices are healthy. Today we talked about what our favorite foods are and how nutritious these food are.

Physical Education

Parker's trails make PE class so exciting. Being able to hike beautiful well maintained trails make the students really appreciate the property we have access to everyday. This Also gives the students ways to learn life long physical activities.

K-1 & 2-3

K-1's and 2-3's really enjoy the Soccer Shipwreck game. This game focuses on ball control and helps students gain more foot eye coordination. The best Shipwreck Command is "Seasick" this command make the crew on the ship get "seasick". The kids really have some fun with this game.

Soccer Skills

The 4-8th grade PE classes have been working really hard on the foot eye coordination. We have been playing a variety of games that help work on dribbling, trapping, passing, and controlling a soccer ball.

The K-1 class has been learning all the different locomotor skills. We play lots of Tag games that work on dodging, fleeing, and chasing. They always come in the gym with smiles.

Soccer Team

The After School Sports Soccer Team has been working very hard these past 2 weeks. We had 3 Soccer Games and each game was a success in its own way. Parker has AMAZING Sportsmanship and has fun no matter what the score is. Way to go Team Parker!

Commitment Bridge

The Middle School completed the Commitment Bridge by trusting their partner and their classmates to walk out as far as possible with balancing on each other.
